Maps

Here are some language maps of Halmahera and Northwest New Guinea that I’ve put together recently. These are shared under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License, so feel free to adapt and use them yourself with proper attribution. I’ve included versions with and without language labels for Austronesian languages; the language/number correspondences are:

Halmahera: Taba (1), Buli (2), Maba (3), Patani (4), Gebe (5), Sawai (6), Gane (7).

These maps were compiled based on an unpublished SIL map, the Ethnologue, Arnold (2018), Remijsen (2001), Voorhoeve (1982), Holton (2017), Kamholz (2014) and Sawaki (2017).
