Oh shit

Just over a year ago, a PA state senator got some media attention for a tweet calling Donald Trump a (sic) “loofa-faced shitgibbon”:

Ben Zimmer wrote a Strong Language blog post about it, as did @languagejones. Shitgibbon, which originated on Scottish Twitter (also aimed at Trump), was named UK-to-US Word of the Year by linguist Lynne Murphy on her blog:

But why stop there? Shit- is a wonderfully useful base for compound epithets. See also recently:

I would argue the Brits are winning at this one, if only on the strength of their auxiliary modifiers.
